Tweeting my Thoughts … my Top10Twitter-Followers

Oh yeah  – let’s talk about my biggest social media pet peeves: TWITTER

Ok I am doing a bit better these days since I am using hootsuite, which helps me a lot getting some structure into the unfiltered sound of the chirping and tweeting of 140 characters maximum per message.

I am still eager to figure out with whom on twitter I have the most interaction.

Using tools like crowdbooster or twitter counter are nice but not very helpful in that regard – or maybe I haven’t found the button which answers my question.

So I set up my personal Top10-List, which is no ranking like every list. It is my twitter-chill-interaction (like the wind chill temperature in wintertime) – these are the twitter user with whom I feel the most interaction, people who really interact with me. Love that. Read more…

Social Media Chucks

OH YES

Did I ever tell you that I love Chucks?
Those wonderful lovely canvas sneakers which go as high as the ankle?
You can have them in adorable colors, I proudly own about 10 pairs so far, and adding more and more each summer. Read more…

Blogging Challenge – a Resumee

January I spend on a blogging challenge.

I did the same challenge in October 2011.

It is kind of fun but also work, hard work sometimes.

The hardest stuff is to motivate oneself.

I usually try to follow a blogging schedule. I try to plan some stuff in advance.

It worked quite well this time – until last Friday. I am still on my little color series.

Thought it might be pretty clever to do the same stuff with a different hero in it. Read more…

Social Media Rocks (3)

Final Part … they are going back to Croatia tomorrow … strong dislike. :(

I have enjoyed meeting Ruth this week … twice… on Monday in the city and last Sunday at my place.

I picked up Ruth from the local metro station and we had a lovely walk in Hermsdorf, enjoying the houses and the quietness of a Sunday midday.

Yes and my son was pleased too meeting Mrs Seba.

Being a teenager he can be very tricky at times.

Tea, lemon cake and a sofa to sit on while chatting … what can two girls expect more.

It was truly a pleasure having Ruth at my home.

My cats enjoyed that too, Billy even honored us by laying next to us, close to the window and close to Ruth most of the time.

Maybe he was watching us.

And I would like to reveal what was hidden in the little purple bag I have showed you the other day … just have a look at my neck.

Isn’t it beautiful?

A little filigree silver ball, just for me.

I am so in love with it. It is perfect, tiny, and shiny … and unique.

I always thought that filigree jewels are kind of tricky to handle, I mean with all the space between the silver … but it is stable as a solid filled ball, but look so much better.

Did I mention that I am in love?

Yes I am … so thanks so so much Ruth and Doka, it is awesome, wonderful, beautiful … lacking of words.

Please look at the pix Ruth kindly send me from the cute ball.

It’s great isn’t it?

A little addition:

It was my Social Media Week.

Monday meeting Ruth Seba.

Sunday meeting Ruth Seba.

Saturday I met a long time forum and facebook fellow: Anja Kadgien for the first time.

And that was awesome too. We had a wonderful walk with her cute and lovely dog together, enjoyed a perfect menu at a local Indian restaurant, another lovely walk with her dog and than we chatted for hours in her hotel room. Just sitting on the floor, drinking coke and talking, talking, talking. No pajama party, but very close to it.

Thanks Anja for having been here too. I enjoyed our meeting very much too.

So I am looking forward to see both of these great ladies soonish again.

Social Media Rocks – Meeting Ruth

As promised yesterday I am telling you about my fantastic meeting with Ruth Seba of SebaSilver.

Ruth is not the first girl, I have met on the Internet and later on met in person, but the first one I have met on Facebook.

Sometimes it happens that you spot a name in a group or on a friend’s page and you get attracted to that.

I was attracted by Ruth’s name when I entered the 30-Day-blogging-challenge group down in September 2011. Soonly we started to read and comment each other’s blogs.

Was fun.

Than we started to send private messages via Facebook, emails and we also worked together.

Lovely interaction. Read more…
