Alessa – solving Problems in a hectic Work Flow

I am so thrilled … my guest today is Alessa, one of the two CarolinaHeartStrings. As many others I have met Alessa during the UltimateBlogChallenge. Recently she honored us with a guestpost about Bauhaus. I love the interview – every interview we have read so far – it shows so much more of the personality of our guest. This was really a blast. Thanks so much Alessa.

Tell us about yourself: (Name, Age, Family, Profession, Education).

My full name is Alessandra (Alessa) Bertoluzzi. I am 46, single with 2 kids (Savannah 16, Marshall (autistic) 14) and I have a wonderful (English) mother and boyfriend. I am a business owner of two businesses with the most active one being auto repair (Auto-1 of Summerville). I have an Associate’s Degree (2 year) in Information Processing (computer programming).

Erzähl etwas über dich:

Ich heiße Angelika, bin 53 Jahre alt und wohne seit 1988 in England. Ich bin geschieden und habe zwei Kinder, eine Tochter, die z. Z. in Neuseeland lebt und einen Sohn, der z. Z. in Deutschland lebt. Bevor ich nach England zog, hatte ich in Deutschland Sozialpädagogik studiert.

Was hat dich veranlasst, deinen Beruf zu wählen?

Ich wollte mit Kindern arbeiten. Dann lernte ich meinen damaligen Mann kennen und zog mit ihm nach England. Mit meinem Studium konnte ich in England nichts anfangen. Also habe ich erst einmal in einer Fabrik gearbeitet, meine Kinder gekriegt und als Putzfrau gearbeitet. Dann bekam ich die Chance, in der Erwachsenenbildung Deutsch zu unterrichten. Das machte mir so viel Spaß, dass ich noch einmal wieder studiert habe. Ich habe eine Zusatzstudium gemacht und wurde Grundschullehrerin.

Scott: My Family made me strong

Actually I planned to do interviews with strong women. A couple of them have been published so far. After reading one of these interviews Scott was so thrilled that he asked as well for an interview. And hey, we all love a good story, and Scott has to tell one. So thanks so much, Scott, for joining us today.

Tell us about yourself:

My name is Scott Lenig. I am a 24 year old Writer and I unload trucks at a dock to earn extra money. Hey, you have to pay the bills some how. I live alone but I do have an older Sister, and of course a Mom and Dad.

We do have our issues, but some how I would not trade them for the world. Good bad or otherwise, they helped make me what I am today and for that, I am thankful.

How would you describe the relationship to your mother?

My relationship with my Mom has had it’s ups and downs over the years. But the trials and tribulations we have faced have only brought us closer to each other in the long run.
