The Magic of Colors … Medium Blue

I don’t know how to call this color.

It is a kind of medium blue.

Medium Blue

H 214° L 30 R 19 C 100 Hexa#
S 87% a 1 G 76 M 75 134c95
B 58% b –51 B 149 Y 0
K 0

Yes sometimes you have to invent your own names.

This blue is a bit colder than the one of yesterday.

It is a bit softer in my opinion.

Sure all the psychological aspects of blue are associated with this color too.

  • Seriousness
  • Trustworthy
  • Calming

Not as refreshing as cyan.

Maybe a shade we can observe when night falls; silver moonlight is already in the sky.

  9. I love ALL blues…. blue china, blue sky, blue pool, blue seas…. In the Carolinas we paint porch ceilings blue to keep away hornets from nesting. And the descendants of slaves use blue to keep away “haints” (haunts – in other words evil spirits…)

    • yes blue is a pretty color.
i love the blue sea and the blue sky🙂

turkish people in germany have a special germ – colored blue – to cast away evil spirits.
interesting that this seems to be common all over the world
